Consolidating existing knowledge on pastoral wildlife interactions

Tuesday, 24th November 2026, 15:00 - 17:00 CET

Join us for the fourth webinar in our joint series with EAAP!

This session brings together four major reviews on pastoralism-wildlife interactions developed within the CoCo Project, each covering a different topic and approach. Swedish partner Umeå University will open with findings on pastoral-wildlife policy interactions. Norwegian partner INN will follow with insights on land and forest use in the context of wildlife management. Spanish partner CITA will then present findings on typologies of pastoral systems, before German partner ZALF closes with a look at the economic dimension, specifically the values and externalities of wildlife and pastoralism.

Finally, we will turn to the big question: how do all these findings come together? This is the challenge facing the CoCo team as we enter the project's final year, working towards a roadmap for coexistence.
