Communication and dissemination strategies and tools
adelphi leads the development of a comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy. The strategy helps to identify key target groups (e.g. stakeholder groups and NGOs representing pastoralists, landowners or hunters) for dissemination and to develop a media strategy to reach the wider public. A dedicated website acts as the central hub for various multimedia products, such as fact sheets and newsletters, which are promoted through social media and translated into multiple languages to maximise impact.
Plan for Communication and Dissemination
The Plan for Communication and Dissemination lays out the coordination, as well as roles and responsibilities, surrounding all CoCo Communication and Dissemination activities and gives a short overview of the communication context and upcoming challenges - while simultaneously suggesting strategies to overcome these challenges to reach the communication goals and objectives.
Project website
This document provides a brief overview of the CoCo website, a key tool for dissemination and communication as detailed in D8.1. The website serves as the main public presence for CoCo, aiming to connect with stakeholders and the general public by sharing project objectives, progress, activities, and updates.
Advisory Board and other networks
Led by adelphi, this task focuses on enhancing the project's impact through collaboration with an Advisory Board and various networks. The Advisory Board is composed of members from the EU Platform on Coexistence Between People and Large Carnivores and relevant scientific experts. This board is enhanced by connections to regional platforms in key study areas, such as Romania and Sweden, which have a strong pastoralist presence.
Co-creation of knowledge
This task, led by CALLISTO focuses on implementing a Multi-Actor Approach, creating knowledge together with stakeholders to reduce conflicts and make the project findings more useful. This involves working closely with the Advisory Board to get feedback and input.
Exploitation of project results
This task focuses on effectively using the project results to achieve real impact. This involves understanding policy processes and using insights from the Advisory Board and project partners to create a roadmap for action. The CoCo project explores ways to influence policy, create best-practice guidelines, and engage with key organisations from local to European levels. It also aims to impact global bodies like the FAO and IUCN. This task is led by adelphi.
